Gino — Your AI BBQ Assistant

Gino is an AI assistant that knows your recipe library, equipment, and preferences.

What Gino Can Do​

  • Answer BBQ questions — temperatures, techniques, wood types, timing
  • Suggest recipes — based on what you have or want to cook
  • Create recipes — describe what you want and Gino builds a full recipe
  • Explain terminology — ask about any BBQ term or method
  • Help with meal planning — "What should I cook this weekend?"

Starting a Chat​

  1. Tap the Gino button (chat icon) from any screen
  2. Type your question or tap the microphone for voice input
  3. Gino remembers your preferences across conversations

Voice Input​

Tap the microphone icon to speak your question. Gino transcribes and responds in text.

Saving Recipes from Gino​

When Gino suggests a full recipe, a Save to My Recipes button appears. Tap it to add it directly to your library.

Gino Memory​

Gino remembers things you tell it, like:

  • Dietary restrictions
  • Favourite wood types
  • Equipment you own
  • Taste preferences

Tell Gino "Remember that I prefer oak wood" and it will factor that into future suggestions.

Tips​

  • Be specific: "I have a 3 kg brisket and a 57 cm kettle grill" gives better results than "I want to cook beef"
  • Ask for step-by-step help: "Walk me through smoking ribs for the first time"
  • Use Gino to convert recipes: "Convert this recipe to serve 8 instead of 4"
