Importing Recipes

ZonaBBQ supports three ways to import recipes from outside the app.

Import from URL​

  1. Tap Recipes → Import
  2. Select From URL
  3. Paste the recipe page URL
  4. ZonaBBQ extracts the recipe details automatically
  5. Review and save

Import from Text​

  1. Tap Recipes → Import
  2. Select From Text
  3. Paste the full recipe text
  4. ZonaBBQ parses ingredients, steps, and metadata
  5. Review and save

Import from Photo​

  1. Tap Recipes → Import
  2. Select From Photo
  3. Take or upload a photo of a printed recipe
  4. ZonaBBQ uses AI vision to extract the recipe
  5. Review and confirm

For best results with photo import, ensure good lighting and that all text is clearly visible.
